Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC) Leh, in collaboration with Golden Mile Learning (GML) and with the support of Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI)

Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC) Leh, in collaboration with Golden Mile Learning (GML) and with the support of Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI), successfully organised the Reinforced Teacher Training (RTT) program in government schools of Leh district. The initial training sessions were held in Nubra and Khaltse zones.



A ceremonial function was held at the Sindhu Sanskriti Kendra Leh yesterday, marking the conclusion of the first year of training and the beginning of the second year of RTT in the other zones of the district.
Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Tashi Gyalson graced the occasion as the chief guest, whereas MP Ladakh Jamyang Tsering Namgyal, along with Principal Secretary School Education Department Ladakh, Sanjeev Khirwar attended as guests of honor. Executive Councillor for Agriculture and Information Technology, Stanzin Chosphel; DC Leh, Shrikant Suse; Co-Founder of Golden Mile Learning, Rajesh Patel, and General Manager SECI (CSR), Kaushik Bhar were also present as special guests.
During his keynote address, CEC Tashi Gyalson expressed his gratitude to the supporters and project implementing partners for their assistance in conducting capacity-building training for teachers. He emphasised the effectiveness of this initiative in supporting the newly adopted education systems with CBSE curriculum in all schools of Ladakh. CEC Gyalson encouraged all trained teachers to share their learning with others and spread knowledge, while also highlighting the Hill Council and UT Administration Ladakh's efforts towards the collective and holistic development of the education system by strengthening government schools in Ladakh.
DC Leh Shrikant Suse also addressed the gathering and commended the implementing partners and the supporters of LAHDC Leh for successfully organising these crucial training sessions for teachers. He emphasised the significance of such training programs and advised all teachers to make the utmost use of this training for their future endeavors.
Rajesh Patel, Co-Founder of Golden Mile Learning, and Trainer Dr. Neepa Oza shared their views on the training program and emphasised the need for innovative teaching methodologies to shape a bright future for the students. They discussed their experiences while training the teachers and expressed optimism for the course of the training program. They also expressed their gratitude to the Hill Council, Leh, and supporting partner SECI for their assistance in successfully conducting the training program.
During the program, all the teachers trained during the first phase of RTT, as well as dignitaries and collaborators, were felicitated. The teachers and concerned Zonal Education Officers also shared their experiences during the first year of the Reinforced Teacher Training Program in Leh.
The event at SSK was attended by CPO Leh, officials from the School Education Department Leh, led by CEO Leh, DEPO, ZEOs, teachers, trainers from Golden Mile Learning, and various other concerned officials.
The Reinforced Teacher Training program aims to promote and enhance superior pedagogical methods among English teachers in Leh Ladakh. The training program was conducted in Nubra and Khaltse zones of Leh district during the first year and will be further conducted in the Durbuk, Nyoma, Leh, and Kharu zones in the coming days.
