Congress President Shri Mallikarjun Kharge, CPP Chairperson Smt. Sonia Gandhi, and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Shri Rahul Gandhi attended a special theatrical performance at Indira Bhawan in New Delhi on the occasion of India’s Independence Day.
The event brought together senior Congress leaders and party members to commemorate the nation’s 79th Independence Day and pay tribute to the sacrifices made during India’s freedom struggle.
The special performance highlighted the spirit of patriotism, India’s rich cultural heritage, and the values associated with the country’s long journey from colonial rule to independence.

New Delhi: CPI(M) General Secretary M.A. Baby hoisted the national tricolour at AKG Bhavan, the headquarters of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) in New Delhi, as the nation observed its 79th Independence Day.
The flag-hoisting ceremony was held to commemorate India’s independence from British colonial rule and honour the sacrifices made during the country’s freedom struggle.
On the occasion, M.A. Baby extended his Independence Day greetings and called for strengthening the values of democracy, equality, secularism and social justice.
