Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter to express his gratitude to congratulated the Congress party for their victory


In the recently concluded Karnataka assembly elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter to express his gratitude to all those who supported his party and congratulated the Congress party for their victory. He also acknowledged and appreciated the hard work of the BJP workers who tirelessly worked towards the party's campaign.



The BJP lost its only stronghold in the south, with Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai conceding defeat as the Congress leads went past 130 seats. The BJP won in 60-plus seats, while former Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy's Janata Dal (Secular) won in over 20 seats.

In his tweet, PM Modi congratulated the Congress party for their triumph in the Karnataka assembly polls and extended his best wishes to them in fulfilling the aspirations of the people. He also stated that he was grateful to all those who supported his party and appreciated the hard work of the BJP workers. The Prime Minister assured that they would serve Karnataka with even more vigor in the future.
