As part of the implementation of comprehensive measures to prevent corruption in the Revenue Department, the tollfree number for transmitting corruption related information to the public without disclosing the names and addresses of complainants will come into effect on Saturday (June 10).
Complaints related to bribery and corruption can be reported on the toll free number 1800 425 5255. You can call on weekdays from 10 am to 5 pm. According to the voice interactive instruction, complaints related to Revenue Department can be registered by dialing Zero first and dialing one (1) for doubt clearing and two (2) for corruption complaints can be registered. Complaints related to corruption will be specially recorded and handed over to senior officials concerned for inspection and action. A special online portal for reporting complaints related to corruption will also be launched soon. The existing revenue toll free system has been modified and facilitated the filing of complaints related to corruption.
