But the owners of Gromar Rythu Seva Kendras and private fertilizer shops are selling seeds, fertilizers and pesticides prescribed by the government in large quantities, with the aim of making a profit, and selling many types of seeds with high profit percentages, which are very good, yield is high, good fertilizers are good, and the crop is good, and if you use pesticides, the disease will go away, and they are causing huge losses to the farmers. However, the Agriculture Department officials are acting like they have nothing to do with it, and even though the private owners are selling them carelessly, they are failing to take action and are looking after their own interests. Similarly, since the monsoon season is about to begin, steps should be taken to ensure that the district has enough seeds, fertilizers and pesticides prescribed by the government and to educate the farmers that only those who have completed B.Sc. Agriculture can run shops. Otherwise, if the private owners act as they wish, they will stage protests in front of the shops across the district. They warned that if the government does not sell urea at the price of Rs 266, they will stage protests in front of the shops.
