MRPS Struggle Leads to Re-Postmortem in Karla Rajesh Lockup Death Case

MRPS Struggle Leads to Re-Postmortem in Karla Rajesh Lockup Death Case

As a result of the MRPS struggle, a re-postmortem is being conducted today on the body of Karla Rajesh, who died 100 days ago after allegedly suffering a lockup death due to a police attack in Kodad.

Padma Shri awardee Manda Krishna Madiga visited the burial site of Rajesh along with key leaders of the MRPS state committee. The police and AIIMS doctors completed the required procedures and prepared the panchanama for the re-postmortem process.

Rajesh was illegally tortured and killed by the police. Strict action must be taken against all the police personnel responsible. The police must also be punished severely according to the law. No one will be spared. The very fact that a re-postmortem is being conducted today is the result of the relentless struggle of MRPS. For the past 100 days, MRPS has continuously fought a legal battle against police wrongdoing and government negligence. The organization is ensuring that its demands are implemented one by one.

That is MRPS. Manda Krishna Madiga.

As a result of the MRPS agitation:

  • Cases of custodial death, torture, and atrocities have been registered against the CI and SI.

  • The CI has been suspended, and the SI, being named Reddy, has been transferred and attached to the SP office.

  • Rajesh’s mother was recently given a job.

  • Earlier, she was provided a pension and grocery support.

  • An Indiramma house was sanctioned.

  • Proceedings have been prepared for allotment of three acres of land.

  • Today, the re-postmortem is being conducted.

What remains now is the suspension of the SI and action against the responsible police officers, the doctors who allegedly altered the postmortem report, and the Musheerabad Tahsildar and other officials who failed in supervision. These actions will also be carried out one by one.

We will continue to fight for justice.

MRPS State General Secretary
