Award Ceremony at UK House of Lords on April 17
Former Member of Parliament Joginipalli Santosh Kumar, founder of the voluntary organization “Ignited Minds,” has been selected for the prestigious Global Green Icon Award in recognition of his dedicated efforts toward environmental protection. The award will be presented on April 17 at the House of Lords, part of the UK Parliament, in a grand ceremony.
Santosh Kumar’s contributions toward promoting environmental awareness and encouraging public participation have gained widespread recognition. His initiative, the “Green India Challenge,” launched with the slogan “Hara Hai Toh Bhara Hai” (Greenery brings prosperity), has transformed environmental responsibility into a nationwide movement. Millions of people—including students, youth, farmers, common citizens, and even national and international celebrities—have actively participated by planting trees across the country.
International Conclave in London
The UK-based organization Helyn Spark Strategies UK Limited is organizing an international conclave in London on April 17 to honor global leaders working toward environmental protection, sustainable development, and combating climate change. As part of this event, Santosh Kumar will be presented with the “Global Green Icon” award at the House of Lords.
