Local officials have revealed that more than 300 roads have been blocked due to rains and floods. In view of these conditions, the Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for the state. Officials said that the state government has identified 350 sensitive areas which are prone to landslides. Six deaths occurred due to rains and floods in the state.

We request the tourists to continue their journey after being allowed by the Meteorological Department,' said Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami to the media. Also, the Meteorological Department has announced that there will be rain in Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Pithoragarh, Rudraprayaga and Bageshwar districts of Uttarakhand.
