KVPS State General Secretary T. Skylab Babu has called on social forces to participate along with workers in the nationwide general strike to be held on May 20.
On Friday, the KVPS state level meeting was held at the Chikkadapalli KVPS state office under the chairmanship of KVPS state vice-president Paladugu Nagarjuna. Afterwards, KVPS activists raised slogans demanding a victory for the general strike.
KVPS state general secretary T. Skylab Babu said that religious hatred is being fueled in the country due to humanist corporate policies and that the innocent youth are being empowered. He expressed his concern that atrocities against Dalits have increased 300 times.
On the other hand, corporate powers are being fed and inequality is being nurtured, and insecurity is being created among the people in the country due to hatred. KVPS State General Secretary T. Skylab Babu called for a movement to protect the constitution by resisting corporate policies of humanism.
The producers of our modern India, Phule, should take up a great movement against humanism in the path shown by Ambedkar.
He said that conspiracies are being made to turn a democratic country into a religious state, and that the lower classes should not have such rights. He said that the Indian Constitution is like the heart of all the people of India and it is the duty of today's generation to protect it. He said that the private sector has increased to 85 percent and how is social justice possible without reservations in it. He called for a great movement for reservations in the private sector. He called for social forces to participate in the general strike being held on May 20 as part of the call given by the national trade unions across the country. He called on all the associations working with the ideas of Phule Ambedkar to participate in the strike with demands such as protection of the constitution, reservations in the private sector, and protection of the National Rural Employment Guarantee Act.
