Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) State President Bandela Gautham strongly condemned the recent police brutality committed by CI Ramulu Naik and Ramesh Yadav against Dalit and minority youth, allegedly for not paying bribes. On Saturday, he visited the families of the victims and inquired about the details of the incident.
Speaking on the occasion, Bandela Gautham Kumar said that the BSP strongly condemns the attacks on Dalits happening across the state. He described the public use of third-degree torture on Dalit youth in a ganja case — simply because they failed to pay bribes — as a heinous act. He demanded that atrocity cases be filed against the police officers involved and that they be suspended from duty.
