Bypolls Certain in Constituencies of Defected MLAs: KCR

Hyderabad:

In the wake of intensifying political tensions in Telangana, BRS Chief K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) asserted that bypolls are inevitable in the constituencies of MLAs who defected from the party. He urged the party leadership and cadre to begin preparations for the by-elections immediately to ensure readiness and momentum.

Focus on Local Body Elections and Organizational Strength

KCR emphasized the importance of achieving strong results in the upcoming local body elections, calling on leaders and workers to put in collective effort. He also directed the party to shift focus to strengthening the organizational structure after the local polls are concluded.

BRS Anger Over Banakacharla Project Issue

Reacting sharply to the recent comments made by Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu and Minister Nara Lokesh about the construction of the Banakacharla project, KCR criticized the silence of Telangana CM Revanth Reddy and the state government.
He pointed out that if BRS had a dozen MPs in the Lok Sabha, they would have strongly resisted such moves that hurt Telangana’s interests.

Sharp Criticism of Congress and BJP MPs

KCR also lambasted Congress and BJP MPs from Telangana, accusing them of incompetence and negligence, which, he claimed, is leading to repeated injustice towards Telangana. He said the BRS is ready for both political and legal battles over the Banakacharla project.

Legal Action and Public Mobilization Suggested

KCR suggested that, apart from approaching the Supreme Court, the party should organize public meetings to raise awareness and expose the state government’s passive stance on key inter-state issues. He stressed that public support is essential to safeguard the state’s interests.

Prepare Cadre for BC Reservations Movement

On the issue of BC reservations, KCR called on the party cadre to gear up for a strong movement to pressurize both the central and state governments. He proposed that after the Karimnagar public meeting on August 8, a BRS delegation should meet the President of India to formally submit a memorandum seeking constitutional protection for Backward Class reservations.

BRS Moving Ahead with a Comprehensive Strategy

Through these directives, it's clear that BRS is repositioning itself as a powerful force in Telangana politics. With plans to counter BJP and Congress silence on crucial issues and mobilize the public, the party is gearing up to reclaim its political dominance with a well-coordinated and aggressive strategy.#oursociety #oursocietynational #oursocietymeadiagroup
