Janagama:
Janagama MLA Dr. Palla Rajeshwar Reddy on Monday issued a statement expressing his anger over the non-inclusion of the Komuravelli Mallanna Temple, a symbol of Telangana culture and traditions, in the Master Plan.
He said that the government has initiated the implementation of the Master Plan keeping in mind the future needs for the development of major spiritual sites in the state, but despite collecting Rs. 6 crore as CGM from the Komuravelli Mallanna treasury every year, it is outrageous that one of the prominent temples in the state, the Komuravelli Mallanna Temple, is not given a place in the Master Plan.
He commented that it is shameful for the Congress government to ignore this holy site, which is the spiritual pride of the people of Telangana. He said that by not including this temple, which is visited by crores of devotees for darshan, in the Master Plan, it is an insult to the sentiments of the devotees.
They demanded that this temple, which is a symbol of people's faith, be immediately included in the master plan, warning that otherwise the Congress government would face the wrath of devotees.
