Andhra Pradesh Weather Update: Heatwave Relief Begins, Thunderstorms & Rain Forecast Across AP
After days of intense heat across the state, some relief is finally on the way. However, this relief is not expected to arrive all at once, but rather gradually across different regions, according to weather updates.
Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning are likely to occur this afternoon and evening in several districts. These include parts of Parvathipuram Manyam, Alluri Sitarama Raju, East Godavari, and Anakapalli districts—especially in the outskirts of Visakhapatnam city. Rainfall is also expected in Vizianagaram, Srikakulam (particularly near the Odisha border areas), NTR, Palnadu, and Eluru districts.
An update regarding rainfall in Vijayawada city is expected later in the evening, and residents are advised to stay alert and take necessary precautions.
Additionally, during the night and midnight hours, scattered rainfall is highly likely in Anantapur, Sri Sathya Sai, and Kurnool districts. As this marks only the beginning, rainfall is expected to expand to more regions in the coming days.
Therefore, there is no need for concern, as the incoming rains are likely to bring much-needed relief from the prevailing heat conditions.
