Hyderabad: “Bharat Zindabad!” echoed across Hyderabad as people celebrated the 80th Independence Day with great patriotic spirit. Flag-hoisting ceremonies were organised in several parts of the city, witnessing enthusiastic participation from people of all sections.
Flag-hoisting programmes were held at Musheerabad, Erragadda, Jubilee Hills, Yakutpura, Badabazar, Jamiat-ul-Mominath Madarsa, Moghalpura and Madina Building X Road, among other locations.
Large numbers of people participated
in the celebrations with enthusiasm, expressing their love for the nation and commitment to unity and harmony. The national flag was proudly unfurled at the events, followed by the singing of the national anthem.
Children, youth, elders and members of different communities took part in the celebrations. Slogans such as “Bharat Zindabad” and “Jai Hind” reverberated through the gathering, reflecting the spirit of national unity and patriotism.
The programmes also remembered the sacrifices made during India’s freedom struggle and highlighted the importance of peace, communal harmony, unity and the continued progress of the nation.
The Independence Day celebrations across Hyderabad conveyed a strong message that the development, peace and unity of the country are a shared responsibility of every citizen.
