Hyderabad to Get 20 TMC Godavari Water | CM Revanth Reddy Launches Phase-2 & Phase-3 Projects | Telangana Congress

Telangana CM Revanth Reddy laid the foundation for Godavari Water Phase-2 & Phase-3 projects to supply 20 TMC to Hyderabad. Out of this, 16 TMC will meet the city’s drinking water needs and 4 TMC will rejuvenate Musi River. Congress continues its legacy of bringing Manjeera, Krishna, and Godavari waters to Hyderabad, ensuring a permanent solution for the next 100 years.

Permanent Water Solution for Hyderabad – Foundation Laid for Godavari Water Phase-2 & Phase-3 Works

The Telangana Government has taken a significant step to provide a permanent solution to Hyderabad’s drinking water needs for the next hundred years.

Under the leadership of Chief Minister Anumula Revanth Reddy, the foundation stone has been laid for the Godavari Water Phase-2 and Phase-3 works.

Through this project, a total of 20 TMCs of water will be drawn from Ellampalli and supplied to Hyderabad.

• 16 TMCs will be dedicated to meeting the city’s drinking water needs.

• 4 TMCs will be utilized for the rejuvenation of the Musi River.

Congress Government’s Contribution

Whether it is water from Manjeera, Krishna, or Godavari, the credit for consistently bringing drinking water to Hyderabad goes to the Congress governments, said the Chief Minister.

People’s Governance – Telangana Model

The CM also stated that the decisions being taken by the Telangana Congress are focused on public welfare and are steering the state towards the vision of “People’s Governance – Telangana Model.”
